Kulma Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 8, 2026
Kulma does not collect, store or transmit any personal data.
- No data collection — the app has no analytics, no
tracking, no advertising and no third-party services. The privacy
manifest bundled with the app declares no collected data types and no
tracking domains.
- No accounts — there is nothing to sign up for and
nothing to log in to.
- Your documents are yours — parts are saved as
.kulma files in the app’s own Documents folder (shown in the
Files app on iPad), or wherever you choose to open or save them, such
as iCloud Drive. Kulma reads and writes them only there, and only when
you open, edit or save them. Every operation on them is computed on
your device.
- Preferences stay on the device — your settings
(appearance, grid, export options, panel sizes) and the name of the
last document you had open are kept in the app’s own storage, so
Kulma opens where you left it. Deleting the app deletes them.
- Purchases — the free trial, Kulma Yearly and
Kulma Lifetime are sold by Apple’s App Store. Kulma never sees
your payment details. To know whether to let you edit, it asks the
App Store on your device which of them you own, and reads the date of
the free trial to count its 14 days. There is no server of ours
anywhere in that path.
- Exporting and sharing — a part leaves the app
only when you export, share or save it, and only to the place you
pick.
- Nothing else is touched — no location, no
contacts, no photos, no microphone, no notifications. Kulma asks for
no permissions. Viewing a part in AR uses Apple’s own AR Quick
Look, which asks for the camera itself; the camera image never reaches
Kulma.
Beyond Apple’s App Store and iCloud Drive — both acting for
you rather than for us — Kulma makes no network connections. Because
it collects nothing, there is nothing for us to share, sell or lose.
